After gaining a BAFTA nomination and a European Film Award for her short film THE PARTY, Andrea began her television career directing the second block of BBC3's hit drama-thriller CLIQUE, before lead directing mini-series COME HOME for BBC One. COME HOME won the Royal Television Society N.I. Award for Best Drama and an International Emmy nomination for Christopher Eccleston, and later enjoyed a revival on Netflix - reaching #3 on the UK Top 10 list.

She was the lead director on the acclaimed BBC series THE TRIAL OF CHRISTINE KEELER, which won the Royal Television Society SW award for Best Drama and was later acquired by HBO Max and Netflix, landing in the UK Top 10 in its first week. She also lead directed THE CONFESSIONS OF FRANNIE LANGTON, a four-part ITV and BritBox drama adapted from the award-winning novel.

Andrea directed TIME S2 for BBC One—starring Bella Ramsey, Jodie Whittaker, and Tamara Lawrance—which aired to critical acclaim and was described as "world-beating drama" in The Guardian. All three actors received RTS nominations, with Lawrance winning Best Actress and Ramsey winning Best Supporting Actress. The series also won the Broadcasting Press Guild award for Best Mini-Series.

Her most recent work, THE GIRLFRIEND, aired to critical acclaim and topped Prime Video's UK and US charts for several weeks. The series earned nominations for two Golden Globes and two Critics Choice Awards, including Best Limited Series in both.

Andrea is currently directing HBO's Game of Thrones spin-off, A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS, S2.
